Whilst working at ArtFX we were asked by Fuel to make several pieces for some festivals (Kaleidoscope & Electric Picnic) in 2021 & ’22.

For Kaleidoscope we created large 3D versions of two of their characters. One being over 6m and the other 3.5m tall. The pencils are just under 5m tall. The tower character is made from 44x19(2x1) held together with lasercut birch ply. The cloud character has a steel under structure, wooden body and entirely hand painted. And the pencils are 44x40(2x2) under structure skinned in ply and hand painted. Skinned with ply and hand painted.  These all had to be designed to come apart for easy of transport and instillation.
